on a beautiful melbourne spring
friday 14th november 2011
exactly 1 month early
my first child...
Dexter Harley Ridden
was welcomed to our world
at 2.19pm.
with only a 1/2 hr labour
and no drugs
and Dexter in breach position
he was born weighing 2.544 kgs
and 48cms in length
he was simply perfect to me!
as only 35wks & 4 days
he went straight into Special Care at Royal Womens Hospital
after being placed on my tummy, a quick hug and hold
unfortunately my body went into shock
(convulsions & shakes)
as it was such a fast intense labour
and i was not really capable
of holding or supporting
the little man until my body recovered
from the fast-forwarded labour/delivery!
